Where can I get contracts?

If you are not already contracted with our carriers, you may print the online contract from this website or call our life product specialist for assistance. If you are contracting a down-line agent, simply print an online contract and have the agent complete it. You may forward the completed contract to our office or directly to the insurance company. When appointing a down-line agent, make sure your agent code is clearly marked and all necessary forms are signed by you. If you have any questions about contracting or licensing, please call our licensing department. **Remember, all contracts MUST have current copies of licenses in the state(s) you wish to be appointed.

How do I get my commissions annualized?

Most companies offer annualization to qualifying agents. If you are contracting with a company for the first time, complete an annualization agreement along with your contract. If you are already contracted with a company and would like to obtain annualization, please contact our office.


What companies require E&O coverage?

Some companies do require E&O coverage in order to be appointed. Click here for detailed information regarding our E&O program.

How are commissions paid by each company?

Company Commissions Are Paid On a Direct Deposit system for most companies. Some may still pay by check. Please be sure to fill out the Direct Deposit form with each contract for faster pay. MESSER does NOT hold your commission in any way.





Underwriting/New Business

Who do I call with an underwriting/new business question?

Some companies will allow agents to call the home office direct with underwriting questions while others require agents to call their up-line office. In any case, our office is always available to answer any underwriting question. Please refer to the "How To Do Biz" sections for each company



Who do I call if I have an impaired risk question?

If you have hard to place case or need help on an ailment, please complete our impaired risk form. Please be sure to be as complete as possible, that we may help you help your client.


Supplies

How do I order supplies?

Upon contracting with our carriers, you will receive a welcome kit. In addition to the welcome kit, you should have received an initial starter packet from us. Most supplies including applications, HIV forms, replacement forms, questionnaires, and most other forms may be obtained from this website. Software may also be downloaded from this site or may be sent to you.

Marketing materials including rate cards, sales brochures, A.M. Best guides, folders, etc. may be ordered through the individual company website, or from our office. If you need any assistance with supplies, we will help you with the utmost priority.

Can I get forms and applications from this website?

Yes, most supplies may be downloaded from this website.
 



Software

How do I get software for each company?

Software may be downloaded from this site or may be sent to you from our office. If you are connected at a slow modem speed (e.g. 56k) we suggest you call us for your copy of the software. We will promptly send it out to you. In the meantime, if you wish to run a term proposal, you may do so on this site.
