Americo's New Med Sup eApplication and Signature Option & More

Americo is excited to announce their new Medicare Supplement eApplication. The new design, navigation, and page response time make it even easier to write Med Sup applications. With the new eApplication, you can easily submit everything to Americo, making it ideal for face-to-face and remote sales.

Your virtual sales have gotten even easier! Americo's new electronic signature method available on the new eApplication, makes it even faster for you and your clients to complete applications. This new Security Question Signature will replace the current voice signature. It allows you and your clients to authorize and complete the signature process with greater convenience. Review the Security Question Signature Guide for more information. 

The new eApplication will be available beginning Monday, July 11, 2022. You can access the new eApplication the same way you do now on the Americo Agent Portal. The new GSL eApplication is available in all states except MN, MO, MT, NH, NJ, RI, and WI. In these states you will continue to use the old eApplication. 

Try out the new eApplication on Americo's demo site via the link on the Agent Portal. You can start using the new eApplication for business on July 11th!

Unfair Trade Practices & Inducements

Georgia has amended Chapter 24 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to insurance generally, so as to provide for exclusions to unfair trade practices and unlawful inducements; to allow an insurer or insurance producer to offer or provide a value-added product or service under certain conditions; to allow an insurer or insurance producer to implement a pilot program offering or providing a value-added product or service under certain conditions; to allow an insurer or insurance producer to offer or give a charitable donation under certain conditions; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
