New Marketplace Agent/Broker Resources Available in Spanish!

To better serve Marketplace agents and brokers who are a part of or who serve consumers who are a part of a Spanish-speaking community, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has translated many key Marketplace agent/broker resources into Spanish. Check out these new resources for helpful information translated into Spanish:

New State Available for Specified Disease Plus

Important Note:

Due to the availability of Specified Disease Plus (new plan), the current Specified Disease (old plan) will no longer be available for sales in Tennessee beginning May 7, 2024.

Assurity Offers New Options for Post-Issue E-Signatures

Assurity now accepts electronic signatures for several post-issue forms and requests via DocuSign and Adobe Sign. Members using e-signatures to submit documents must also submit the Certificate of Completion from DocuSign or the Final Audit Report Adobe Acrobat Sign page for the signature to be accepted.

Special Enrollment Period: Washington Emergency Declaration – Damage from Rain Storms

A state of emergency was declared, impacting individuals in certain Washington counties. This declaration allows for a one-time Special Enrollment Period (SEP), in the event beneficiaries were unable to make an election during another qualifying election period. Please reference the following guidelines for the incident period. This SEP applies to the Washington counties listed below.

Molina Healthcare Implements New Background Check Process

Molina Healthcare is implementing a new background check process for agents who have been with the company for two years and have active enrollments. Agents will receive a link from Evolve asking for a signature of approval to run the background check, which will be valid for the duration of their active status with Molina Marketplace.
