Now, members in Pennsylvania have access to the same great dental plan that members in so many other states enjoy. Sure, the plan's not available everywhere yet, but NCD is expanding to new areas as quickly as they can.
This is an important announcement for agents with customers in Texas and for those with business in the state. The counties below are under a state-designated SEP due to an emergency.
Special Enrollment Periods have been declared for California, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
As of Dec. 21, there is a new page on the Colorado Connect application called “Tell us about life changes” where customers can report Qualifying Life Change Events (QLCEs). These QLCEs for Colorado Connect customers are slightly different than QLCEs for Connect for Health Colorado customers, so here in the C4U Training Portal is a new Special Enrollment Period reference chart for Colorado Connect and also attached.
As a reminder, Banner Medicare has shifted to a new paper enrollment form to comply with new requirements from Medicare. Only the new form may be used for enrollment signature dates beginning in January.
Beginning with sales on January 15, 2023, NCD will no longer be paying commissions on new sales of NCD Dental underwritten by Nationwide with a waiting period waiver (POPC) and effective dates of February 1, 2023, and beyond.
