Review requirements for the disaster/emergency Special Enrollment Period (SEP)

A special enrollment period (SEP) exists for individuals affected by a disaster or other emergency declared by a federal, state or local government entity who were unable to, and did not make an election during another valid election period. This SEP allows for enrollment and disenrollment elections.

Liberty Bankers Expands Plus Series Products to IN

Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company recently expanded the availability of its supplemental health product line to clients in Indiana. Effective May 23rd, agents selling Liberty Bankers Insurance can advertise Accident Plus, Cancer Plus, Critical Care Plus, and Heart & Stroke Plus to clients.

Americo Updates Procedures for Annuities Brokers

Americo has implemented updates to its Sustainability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulations. Appendix A, the Insurance Agent Disclosures for Annuities form, or form DFS-H1-1990, must now be submitted with all new annuity applications. 

NCD by MetLife is Coming to Utah

NCD by MetLife plans will be offered in Utah beginning on June 1st, 2024. Plans will be open for new enrollment through the National Wellness and Fitness Association.
