Cica Life Updates Agent Advertising Guidelines

Cica Life Insurance Company is introducing new guidelines for digital content to prevent agencies and producers from publishing unapproved social media content. Beginning in June, the company will roll out a digital submission system for the Advertising Compliance team to ensure all advertising guidelines are followed.

Any producer working with Cica Life must submit all sales materials to Advertising Compliance, as producer contracts outline. Cica Life follows the NAIC Advertisements of Life Insurance Model Regulation to review which advertisements are compliant.

Materials are required to be submitted in their final format and may not be altered after approval. Review requirements include directives for advertisements that identify products or the company by name and those that indirectly identify products or the company by citing features or attributes. Agents submitting sales materials for review can expect a response from the Advertising Compliance team within 7-10 business days.
