UnitedHealthcare and Prisma Health Reach a New Agreement in SC

After months of negotiation, UnitedHealthcare and Prisma Health have compromised on a multi-year contract to restore access to Prisma network providers for clients with UnitedHealthcare policies. 

Aetna Fitness Benefit - Items Not Covered

Aetna Fitness Benefit has issued their list of non-covered items. The first 5 items ones that CMS required Aetna to add to the “NOT” covered list as of 4/26/2024. This list may not be all-inclusive. Alliant Member Termination Letters Due to CMS Compliance

Alliant Health Plans would like to share an important update regarding our process for sending termination letters to members, which may result in increased member inquiries to you.

Context:

The Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) required termination letters to be sent to members whose policies have been technically terminated, regardless of the reason or scenario. To comply with CMS regulations, our Eligibility and Billing Department began sending termination letters to affected members beginning In May 2024 with termination notices dating back to January 2024.

GeoBlue paper commission checks ending 8/1/2024

Effective August 1, 2024, GeoBlue® will no longer be issuing commissions via paper check. All payments will be made electronically through direct deposit. You can sign up for electronic payments by clicking the “View/Update Profile” link found in the upper left-hand side of the Agent Hub landing page and downloading the ACH form.
