The New Enrollment Portal For NCD by MetLife is Ready!

This means… ALL NCD contracted agents can sell NCD by MetLife and VSP Preferred Plans. 

National Care Dental sent instructions on how to get started as well as a FAQ. See below:

See, what we’ve heard from our agents is that you want an enrollment portal to be SIMPLE! So we’ve tried to accomplish that.

All you have to do is go to the link above and you can enroll your clients yourself — or you can give your client that link and they can enroll themselves. That’s it.

What is the Association Fee?

All plans sold by NCD are called "association plans." These are effectively group plans available to members of the National Wellness and Fitness Association (NWFA). Association plans aren’t new, for example, the AARP MedSupp is an association plan. In order to be able to enroll in an NCD by MetLife dental plan or a VSP Preferred Plan by NCD, you have to be a member of the association. Don’t worry, we’ve made it all part of the same application. Do I have to join the association? 

Yes. These plans are only available to members of the NWFA. The association provides a large amount of non-insurance benefits and discounts to your clients.

Can I ONLY use this tool for NCD by MetLife and VSP Preferred Products?

For now, the answer is yes. Our enrollment portal for our Nationwide product (SimpleSmile) is still working well and ready for your use. In the future, we’ll be making enhancements to combine things under one platform. When that is ready, we’ll let you know.

Will my customer get confirmation after the purchase?

Most definitely. In fact we’ve completely redesigned our confirmation process to better communicate with members after the sale. Members will receive a purchase confirmation email directly after the sale. Then within 24 hours they’ll get a welcome email from our team about their purchase. Lastly — and this is the new part — they’ll receive their ID Card via email as well as our new member welcome brochure. They’ll also receive a mailed ID card and welcome brochure in 7–10 business days.

What if I have trouble with this enrollment portal?

We understand weird stuff happens. There are a couple of options.

    1. If you’ve got an immediate problem, give our Agent Support Team a call at 844-284-4944. They should be able to help you in the moment.
    2. If you’ve noticed something that’s not an immediate issue or just a bizarre occurrence that you want us to be aware of you can email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We’ll make sure your info gets to our development team.

Where can I confirm my sale has actually happened?

So we understand that you want to double-check that the sale went through. We appreciate your attention to detail. After your sale occurs, it should take about 15–20 minutes for it to populate in our system, and then you should be able to see it in your agent portal. At that time, your client should also have received their purchase/enrollment confirmation. 

What if I don’t see my recent sale in my Agent Portal?

Hopefully, that won’t happen. But in case it does, here’s what to do. Shoot an email to our Agent Support Team at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Let them know who you are, what your agent ID is, and then the name and date of birth of your client. Agent Support will track it down for you.

We’re excited for you! Our suggestion is to take some deep breaths, and maybe take a quick walk around the block just to calm yourself. Then you can go to this link, and review some of our NCD by MetLife sales materials. We know, sales materials can be pretty thrilling, so pace yourself. After you’ve done that, you’re ready! Now get out there and take over the Dental Insurance world.

Does this work on all my devices?
