Humana: Reminder About New Spending Account Cards

As the Humana Spending Account card starts to be mailed to members, Humana wanted to remind everyone that if a member changes plans after their Spending Account Card is mailed to them, they will not receive a new card. Their existing card will automatically be updated with the new benefits.

One of the advantages of the Humana Spending Account card is that the card can stay with members across multiple plan years and even across multiple plans. As such, when conducting a plan change sale, please remember to reiterate to the member that they will not receive a new card (if they have already received their card) and be sure to review the new benefits with them, as these might differ from the information provided in the initial card mailing.
