ManhattanLife Insurance Introduces New PAID Enhanced - Accident Only Policy

ManhattanLife Insurance recently introduced their new PAID (Paid Accident Indemnity Delivery) policy. This new “Accident Only” policy helps pay for out-of-pocket expenses. The eligible issue ages are 18 – 84, and guaranteed renewable for life.

New plan benefits include

• Urgent Care Facility
• Rehabilitation Unit – Admission
• Quadriplegia
• Physician Follow-up Visits
• X-Ray
• Concussion
• Paraplegia
• Ambulatory Surgical Center Facility
• and/or Outpatient Hospital Facility

There is also an annual wellness benefit rider for $60 paid each year for covered person that includes services such as dental exams, mammograms, pap smears, immunizations, ultrasounds, eye exams, blood screening test, and more.

The PAID policy covers a wide range of accident-related benefits such as Air Ambulance, Burns, Chiropractic Visits, Dislocations, Emergency Dental Work, Fractures, Torn Knee Cartilage, Laceration, and Major Diagnostic Exams (CT scans, MRI, and Angiograms).

The Physical Therapy benefit is payable when a covered person receives emergency treatment for injuries sustained in a covered accident, then advised to seek treatment from a licensed physical therapist, as long as the therapy starts within 30 days of the accident.

With this new PAID Enhanced policy, ManhattanLife is offering the options of 24-hour or off-the-job plans. Available plans are offered in weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly premiums as minimal costs starting at $4.23 per week.

Ancillary Services help reduce healthcare costs and provide additional options for treatment. These services may be imaging procedures, lab testing, and online medical consultations by phone or video.
