Special Enrollment Period: Georgia Emergency Declaration - Inclement Weather and Tornadoes

Please be advised that a state of emergency was declared, impacting individuals in all Georgia counties. This declaration allows for a one-time Special Enrollment Period (SEP), in the event beneficiaries were unable to make an election during another qualifying election period. Please reference the following guidelines for the incident period. This SEP applies to all counties in Georgia.

CMS Announces SEP For Medicaid Unwinding

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced a Marketplace Special Enrollment Period (SEP) for qualified individuals and their families who are losing Medicaid coverage due to the end of the continuous enrollment condition — also known as “unwinding.”*

Special Enrollment Period: Extended Florida Emergency Declaration - Hurricane Ian

This declaration allows for a one-time Special Enrollment Period (SEP), in the event beneficiaries were unable to make an election during another qualifying election period. Please reference the following guidelines for the incident period. This SEP applies to all Florida counties.

Covered California: Special Enrollment Begins

Consumers can enroll in a Covered California health plan or change their current plan only during Open Enrollment unless they experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE)— this is called a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). During this period, Certified Enrollers may assist all consumers eligible for a Special Enrollment; they do not have the ability to complete new or in-progress applications without a defined Qualifying Life Event.
